Pia has 13 years of experience in the alternative medicine industry, most of them practising from an organic lifestyle retreat in the Tallebudgera Valley. There she consulted with busy professionals and burnt out mum’s seeking respite from the cycle of caffeine, alcohol, poor sleep and stress. During this time, her interest in mental health grew, prompting a return to university to obtain undergraduate and then post-graduate qualifications in psychology, majoring in health. It was then that she began to really look at the underlying issues relating to chronic stress, anxiety, depression and reliance on substances, to see that it was far more complex issue than a one-pill fits all approach. She is particularly good with disordered eating and body image issues.
Pia is a committed advocate for those individuals who are seeking a more integrated approach in achieving optimal mental and emotional wellbeing. She is experienced with working alongside other practitioners to ensure all aspects of her client’s health concerns are considered. Pia’s consultations are holistic and utilise her three-tiered approach by addressing your health concerns biochemically, nutritionally and emotionally. Pia utilises her naturopathic skills and her psychology background to assess her clients in consultation to determine the root cause of their imbalances and then formulates a plan with them to restore them back to their rightful state of wellbeing.
